Editorial policy
Curious Arts Spotlight aims to make arts coverage thoughtful, clear and accountable. We distinguish what can be observed from what is interpretation, and correct material errors when they come to light.
Accuracy and context
We check names, titles, dates and other factual details before publication, using appropriate sources and taking care not to present an interpretation as settled fact. When a piece discusses a creative choice, we try to describe the detail that supports our reading. Readers can contact us with corrections or questions through the Contact page.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made separately from partnership arrangements. We do not promise favourable coverage in exchange for support, access or payment. Sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial work.
Corrections and illustrations
When we confirm a factual error, we correct the relevant text and make the change clear where the error could affect a reader’s understanding. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; those images are identified as such. Illustrations are not presented as documentary records of a real artwork or event.
